Ski Resort - Bansko Bulgaria

Bansko is the gateway to the Pirin mountain region and is certainly Bulgaria’s up and coming ski resort. It offers an irresistible combination of high mountains and ancient history mixed with ex-eastern bloc architecture alongside both new and old infrastructure.

Furthermore Bansko is a World Heritage Site due to its old village center which is simply crammed with traditional 'Mehana' that still serve up traditional snacks and meals at all times of the day. With its diverse newly renovated, wide, tree-lined pistes, Bansko offers a variety of skiing for all ages and levels.

Bansko offers the best skiing in Bulgaria with twice as many lifts as the other resorts, and the largest amount of marked pistes.

Ski Resort - Borovets Bulgaria

Borovets is the oldest and biggest ski resort in Bulgaria, situated on the northern slopes of the Rila Mountains at the foot of the highest peak in the country, Moussala. Nestled among old pine forests the resort was founded in 1896 and gradually developed into a modern resort with luxury hotels, restaurants and a superb network of ski runs varying in difficulty. There is also a wide choice of après ski entertainment and nightlife as well as organised trips to places of interest in the Rila Mountains.

Ski Resort - Pamporovo Bulgaria

A modern ski resort in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains, Pamporovo is the sunniest Bulgarian winter resort situated at an altitude of 5,413ft (1,650m) and has wonderful snow throughout the season. Pamporovo offers excellent skiing with its nursery slopes being particularly good for beginners, however advanced skiers may find this resort less interesting due to a lack of Advanced runs.
